Ground and Restore yoga and wellness retreat is all about you. Three nights spent in the beautiful North Devon countryside, filling up your cup with nourishing yoga classes, delicious plant-based food and workshops around healthy living and creating your own raw food dishes. Just a stone's throw away from the ocean and famous South West Coastal Path, you are in the perfect location to immerse yourself in nature. With plenty of opportunities to have your own time and space, you can switch off to ground and restore in your own way.
Our October ‘Ground & Restore’ retreat is hosted in the beautiful North Devon countryside. Located on the edge of Georgeham, this contemporary farmhouse provides a peaceful and private haven surrounded by 75 acres of extensive gardens and farm land, freely accessible for guests throughout their stay perfect for quiet, undisturbed walks in nature. With the famous SW Coastal Path and surf beaches of Croyde, Saunton, Woolacombe and Putsborough within walking distance, there are plenty of opportunities to surround yourself in the beauty of North Devon.
The Farmhouse offers an open plan kitchen and dining room, featuring an inclusive, long dining table, ideal for social meal times. The gloriously comfy sitting room boasts a double-sided wood burning stove and full to the brim bookshelves, perfect for hunkering down with a blanket and having a bit of down time. Each room is clean, fresh and flooded with natural light during in the day, so if you feel you need some private time, you have the perfect respite available.
The Farmhouse has five bedrooms; one double, one twin and three triples, sharing between them five bathrooms, all supplied with solar heated hot water. There is also a double utility shower room downstairs for washing off after any beach visits.
Fuelling our bodies with healthy, fresh and suitably sourced food will play a large part during our retreats, understanding the importance of providing ourselves with the energy and nutrients needed to flourish and thrive. Included in your weekend, you will be provided with 3 vegan meals a day, utilising plant-based proteins to restore and recover combined with fresh vegetables packed with immune boosting and energising minerals. Juices, smoothies, healthy snacks and fruit will also be provided throughout the day to maintain energy levels and uplift. All dietary requirements are catered for, just let us know upon booking.
Yoga & Workshops
Each morning, you will wake and energise your bodies with an uplifting yoga flow in the beautiful, sun-drenched shala. Connecting and grounding your energies, you will use creative Vinyasa sequences to invigorate, align and set intentions for the day ahead. As the sun sets, you will wind down with a gentle and centering Yin yoga class, incorporating elements of Restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra to relax and restore the muscles, using systematic breathing techniques to calm the mind and body. Evenings will be centred around warmth and comfort, putting self-care techniques into practice as you prepare your body for healing sleep, reflecting on the day’s events. Essential oils and music will be used to add another dimension to your experience, fully immersing you in your practice and enhancing your senses. All abilities are welcome, whether you are a complete beginner or seasoned yogi and modifications will be offered to accommodate injuries and experience. All props and yoga mats will be provided during the retreat, however if you prefer to use your own equipment, please feel free to bring these with you.
You will get the opportunity to take part in two specialised workshops whilst on this yoga and wellness retreat.
Raw Food Workshop
Our lovely in-house chef will be sharing with you some wonderful recipes and techniques to start incorporating raw food into your diet. You will get the opportunity to make some delicious treats, which we will eat on the retreat.
Healthy Mind, Body & Life Workshop
Georgie will guide you through an interactive workshop, learning about techniques, drawn from her Health and Life Coaching Practice and yoga experience, to help you create healthier habits in your daily life.

What's Included / What's Not Included

What payments are required to secure my spot?
We ask for a 25% deposit upon booking to secure your spot. The remaining payment is due 60 days prior to the retreat. If you are booking within the 60 day period prior to commencement of the retreat, payment is expected to be made in full upon booking.
Do you accommodate special dietary requirements?
Our catering is purely plant-based and will accommodate any specific dietary requirements for the individual. Please let us know upon booking and we will be able to organise for you! The chef has many years experience cooking for large groups at yoga retreats and all food is designed specifically for you!
How do I get to the retreat?
Upon confirmation of booking you will receive details of directions and how to get to the location. We always encourage to travel in the most eco-friendly way, therefore, should you wish to car share, please let us know and we will put you in touch with other people heading down.
I've never done yoga or have limited experience, can I still come?
Yes! Our yoga is available for all levels, even if you have never practiced yoga before. We teach approachable and varied classes for complete beginners and experienced yogis and with smaller group sizes you are able to receive more attention. All classes are optional and if you feel one day that you do not want to participate, then we respect your choice and time.
Can I bring my own equipment?
Please feel free to bring along your own equipment, however we do offer all the equipment onsite so you do not have to bring anything, other than yourself!
Do you accept people with injuries?
Yes, everyone is welcome. However, please contact us prior to the retreat and we will discuss this in further details of any additional requirements that may need to be in place. Please note that there are no bedrooms on the ground floor.
