ABOUT US

Seed Retreats Co. creates welcoming spaces for you to reconnect and flourish within yourselves.  You will be given the opportunity to be engrossed in new styles of yoga, learning self-care practices and nourishing the body from within with delicious foods, offering you a holistic approach to life.  Over the course of a yoga and wellness retreat, you will plant new foundations, evolve and grow, allowing you to simply re-set the mind and body.

Reflecting the grounded nature of a new seed planted in the earth, the yoga and wellbeing retreats are run as sustainably as possible, choosing responsibly sourced foods; offering plant-based menus, and hosting in earth-friendly venues.  Each yoga and wellbeing retreat venue is hand-picked for its location, accessibility and most importantly eco-ethos.  Quality time in between structured classes will be cherished, utilising outdoors and open spaces to truly unwind and decompress from your busy lives.  Seed Retreats Co. are proud to incorporate alternative wellness treatments and modalities; such as Health & Life Coaching, Reiki and Massage, alongside and during the yoga and wellness retreats.

Who Are We....

Seed Retreats Co. is made up of two fabulous ladies; Sal & Georgie, with a passion for yoga, health and living authentically.  Having both come from a background of classical dance and sports, yoga called to them both as a way of finding balance within the body and mind, using breath to connect to movement, whilst staying centred and grounded within their practice and everyday life; a strong theme throughout the yoga and wellness retreats.  Now both living in Devon, UK, they feel most at home in the outdoors, absorbing the energy of nature and the power of fresh, sea air.

SAL BOWER

After an unconditional offer to study at The Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Sal pursued training to be a professional dancer at age 18. A back injury during training introduced Sal to Yoga as a form of movement rehabilitation. She resonated with the ability to be creative during Yoga flows, working on different muscles or systems with in the body depending on the requirements of the student. During training, Sal undertook her first Yoga Teacher Training with the British School of Yoga. Wishing to deepen her understanding and skill-set, she then embarked on a 500hour Yoga Teacher Training in

Cambridge in 2014. Since then, she has taught all over the country, particularly enjoying the creative and energising Vinyasa Flow style, aiming to uplift and refresh students, connecting and grounding them during practice. As well as Vinyasa Flow, she also teachers Hot Yoga, both Bikram and Hot Flow.

When she isn’t teaching, Sal works as a vegan chef at the successful plant-based cafe Sacred Grounds, Exeter. With a passion for food and health, she enjoys creating recipes using seasonal ingredients - keep you eyes peeled for her recipes on the Seed Retreats Journal!

As well as teaching Barre and TRX, she also practices Sports & Deep Tissue Massage which is offered on the Retreats.
